WINTER HERB SCHOOL 2023-2024

one Sunday a month December – May Brattleboro, Vermont

Come get cozy with other plant nerds this winter as we investigate human-plant relationships and what it means to gratefully accept care from the land. Students will have the opportunity to learn about body systems, herbal energetics, botany, attunement, herbal histories, ethnobotany, plants in the field, and medicine making. Materia medica will emphasize herbs of the local fields and forests and those that can be grown in the New England climate. This class is for all levels of experience, and students will be offered short readings and a final one-page art-and-science monograph assignment to contribute to a collective project.
